Meet the Attorney Behind Your Legacy and Your Brand

Estate planning and trademark protection, guided by an attorney who has walked the same road her clients are walking now.

Carmen Rosas, Esq.
Founder + Managing Attorney
"Estate planning shouldn't feel overwhelming. It should feel like a relief."

Carmen Rosas is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Legacy Protection Firm, P.C., bringing over 13 years of legal experience dedicated to helping individuals and families protect what matters most.

Her commitment to her clients is deeply personal. While studying for the California Bar exam, she experienced the loss of her grandmother. Navigating grief while handling probate court matters was exhausting, time-consuming, and costly. That experience became the catalyst for her mission: helping families and entrepreneurs protect what matters most through proactive estate planning and trademark law.

From Loss to Purpose

Carmen did not set out to build a law firm around grief. She set out to practice law, help clients, and build a career. It was a personal loss, during one of the most demanding stretches of her professional life, that changed the direction of her work entirely.

While studying for the California Bar exam, Carmen lost her grandmother. In the weeks that followed, she found herself navigating probate court on behalf of her family, at the exact moment she was supposed to be preparing for the most important test of her career. What she experienced firsthand, the paperwork, the delays, the confusion over who was entitled to what, stayed with her long after the exam was over.

That experience became the foundation for Legacy Protection Firm. Carmen built her practice around a simple idea: families should not have to learn how probate works while they are grieving. A well-built estate plan, put in place before it is needed, can spare the people you love from exactly what her family went through.

Over time, her practice grew beyond estate planning alone. Watching entrepreneurs and small business owners face similar uncertainty around protecting their brands, often without knowing where to start, led Carmen to expand into trademark law as well. Today, Legacy Protection Firm serves both families protecting their legacy and business owners protecting their brand, guided by the same principle: proactive protection beats reactive crisis, every time.
